FLUX.1 [dev] is Black Forest Labs' open-weight guidance-distilled text-to-image model, intended for research and non-commercial use. It delivers quality close to the commercial Pro variant while being fully accessible on HuggingFace. Requires 20–50 inference steps for optimal results. Released simultaneously with FLUX.1 [schnell] on August 1, 2024.
