EON is LinkedIn’s Economic Opportunity Network family of domain-adapted foundation GenAI models for the LinkedIn platform. The company adapts open or third-party bases with LinkedIn Economic Graph and professional-task data so product teams can ship member and customer GenAI features with stronger domain fit. Training uses multi-task instruction tuning with reasoning traces, then preference and safety alignment; documented sizes include EON-8B and EON-70B variants (for example domain-adapted Llama 3.1-8B), used in products such as Hiring Assistant candidate–job matching.
