About
Niji is a special series of Midjourney image models, developed with Spellbrush, that focuses on Eastern and anime aesthetics and illustrative styles. Niji has its own website and Discord server, and you choose a Niji model with the --niji parameter, such as --niji 6 or --niji 7. Niji 7, launched on January 9, 2026, renders fine details such as eyes, reflections, and small background elements more clearly, and follows prompts more closely, which helps with specific designs and repeatable characters. It is more literal than earlier versions, so broad prompts may behave differently, and it has a cleaner, flatter look that highlights its line work.
