About
CodeGen-Multi 16B is the multi-language 16B model in Salesforce AI Research's first CodeGen release (March 2022). It started from CodeGen-NL 16B and was further pre-trained on 119.2B tokens of GitHub code from Google BigQuery covering C, C++, Go, Java, JavaScript and Python. It generates code from English comment prompts and completes partial code, with a 2,048-token context. It is also the starting checkpoint for CodeGen-Mono 16B. Weights are on Hugging Face under BSD-3-Clause.
