CodeGen-NL 16B is the natural-language base of Salesforce AI Research's first CodeGen release (March 2022). It was pre-trained on EleutherAI's Pile, which includes some code, and is the starting checkpoint for CodeGen-Multi 16B. It has a 2,048-token context. Weights are on Hugging Face under BSD-3-Clause.
