About
ERNIE Bot (文心一言, Wenxin Yiyan) is Baidu's conversational AI product built on the ERNIE large language model series. Invited beta testing began March 16, 2023; public availability opened August 31, 2023 following regulatory approval. Multiple versioned API snapshots were deployed (e.g., ERNIE-Bot-0615, ERNIE-Bot-turbo-0725). Parameter count and context window length have not been publicly disclosed. Succeeded by ERNIE 4.0 in October 2023.
