As a generative pretrained transformer (GPT) with fewer parameters than its Jurassic-2 Ultra and Mid counterparts, it offers faster processing and less expense. Jurassic-2 Light is adept in tasks like keyword extraction, text classification, NER, short-form copy generation, and sentiment analysis, while supporting zero-shot prompting. It is multilingual, accommodating languages such as Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, and Dutch, although its smaller scale means it's less suited for complex tasks. The model was discontinued on November 14, 2024.
