About
Phonon 40M Multilingual is Gradium's on-device text-to-speech model that speaks English, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese with one set of 40-million-parameter weights, released October 20, 2026. It outputs streaming 24 kHz speech on CPUs, GPUs and NPUs. Weights are on Hugging Face behind an automatic access form under CC BY-NC 4.0; commercial use requires a license from Gradium.
