About
Strands Decider 2B is Strands Labs' (AWS) open ~2B-parameter decision model, announced 1 October 2026. It fine-tunes Qwen3.5-2B-Base with a rank-16 LoRA and a small pointer head so that, given a state and typed questions (noul, choice, score), it returns an option and a probability for each option in one pass instead of generating text. Weights, training recipe and data inventory are Apache-2.0: code at github.com/strands-labs/strands-decider; current reference checkpoint StrandsAgents/strands-decider-2B-hobson-v21 on Hugging Face (v19 remains published). Default local context window is 4,096 tokens. Serve locally with `strands-decider serve` (`POST /v1/systemone`). Not a chat model.
