pplx-decider-v1-27b is Perplexity's first decision model, released 2026-10-01 with the Perplexity Decisions API. Fine-tuned from Qwen3.8-27B, it reads a state of text, JSON, or images (PNG, JPEG, or WebP data URLs) and answers up to 128 named questions per request (noul for yes/no, choice with up to 255 options, or score with up to 10 levels) with probabilities instead of generated text. Called via POST https://api.perplexity.ai/v1/decisions with model pplx-decider-v1-27b; input must stay under 262,144 tokens.
