K2 Horizon is the Institute of Foundation Models (IFM / MBZUAI) open-weight fleet of six foundation language models released September 3, 2026: sparse MoE flagship 375B-A23B (23B active), MoVA-36B-A4B (Mixture-of-Value-Attention MoE, 4B active), dense 32B, 7B, 3.7B, and 0.9B. First-party IFM blog and Hugging Face IFM/K2-Horizon-* cards document Apache 2.0 weights, native long context (512K on five sizes; 128K on 0.9B), reasoning and tool-call parsers, and day-zero vLLM/SGLang/Ollama serving.
