Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) is the world's first graduate-level, research-focused AI university, established in 2019 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The Institute of Foundation Models (IFM) at MBZUAI conducts foundational AI research in collaboration with partners including G42 and Cerebras Systems, producing open-source AI models such as the K2 family.
