About LongCat-2.5
LongCat-2.5 is Meituan's native multimodal model for long-horizon agentic tasks, released November 2, 2026. It is a mixture-of-experts model with 1.6 trillion total parameters and about 48 billion activated per token, built on LongCat-2.0 with stronger native visual understanding and agentic coding, with W4A4 inference optimized for domestic AI accelerators. It accepts text and image input. It is served on the LongCat API Platform as LongCat-2.5; Meituan lists Hugging Face and GitHub releases as coming soon.
