About Microsoft-Decision-1

Microsoft-Decision-1 is Microsoft's decision-scoring model, announced 2026-10-09 by Satya Nadella and generally available in Microsoft Foundry and through OpenRouter. It does not generate text: given a state (text or JSON) and typed questions, it returns a probability for a yes/no condition (noul), a selected option with a probability for every option (choice), or a position on an ordered scale (score), and it writes no rationale. Microsoft post-trained Qwen3.5-9B for single-pass decision scoring. Inputs are text-only, up to 32,768 tokens. In Foundry it deploys as Microsoft-Decision-1 (version 1, GlobalStandard, or DataZoneStandard in selected regions) and is called at /providers/microsoft/v1/systemone.
