Seed-Coder-8B-Base is the pretrained base model in ByteDance Seed's Seed-Coder family, trained on 6 trillion tokens of code-centric data curated using a model-centric pipeline (LLM-based filtering rather than hand-crafted rules). Supports code completion and fill-in-the-middle (FIM) infilling across multiple programming languages. 8B parameters, 32K context window, MIT license, open weights on Hugging Face. Previously known as Doubao-Coder.
