Nomic AI develops GPT4All, an open-source ecosystem for running language models locally on consumer hardware. GPT4All provides a desktop application and library supporting a wide range of open-weight text generation models, and Nomic has published their own fine-tuned models optimized for local inference. They also develop Nomic Embed for text embeddings.
